The spirit of music lives here—on stage, in the front row and in the balconies. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2009, the Bijou has hosted such performers as Groucho Marx, Dizzy Gillespie, Phyllis Diller, Wynton Marsalis, Joan Baez, and The Ramones. Generations of East Tennesseans recall good times at the Bijou. Those days have returned.
